ABOUT THE CLIENT:
WA Plantation Resources (WAPRES) was the client for this integrated stormwater and wastewater treatment project in Bunbury, Western Australia.
The project was developed for a timber processing facility, incorporating treatment processes for stormwater and wastewater alongside recycled water treatment.
CHALLENGE: INTEGRATED STORMWATER & WASTEWATER TREATMENT
The timber processing facility required an integrated approach to treating its stormwater and wastewater.
Rather than addressing these requirements through separate project scopes, the project called for an integrated treatment system incorporating multiple treatment stages, together with control and monitoring through a PLC system.
Aquasol was engaged to provide the system through design, supply and commissioning.
SOLUTION: INTEGRATED TREATMENT WITH PLC CONTROL AND RECYCLED WATER TREATMENT
Aquasol designed, supplied and commissioned an integrated stormwater and wastewater treatment system for the timber processing facility.
The treatment system incorporated several stages to support the treatment process, including:
Screening
Aeration
Clarification
Chemical dosing
Recycled water treatment
PLC control
The combination of these technologies provided an integrated treatment system covering the project's stormwater and wastewater requirements, while also incorporating recycled water treatment.
Aquasol was responsible for the design, supply and commissioning of the system.
