ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Goomalling Shire Council was the client for this water reuse treatment project in Goomalling, Western Australia.

The project involved the design and supply of a 390 m³/day water reuse treatment plant for reclaimed water reuse, incorporating filtration, disinfection, pumping, storage and process controls.

CHALLENGE: TREATING RECLAIMED WATER FOR REUSE

The project required a dedicated treatment system for reclaimed water reuse, with a design treatment capacity of 390 m³/day.

The system needed to incorporate filtration and disinfection together with the pumping, storage and control equipment required to support the treatment process.

A further requirement was to provide the treatment system in a containerised configuration, bringing the treatment equipment together into a coordinated system.

SOLUTION: CONTAINERISED WATER REUSE TREATMENT

Aquasol designed and supplied a 390 m³/day containerised water reuse treatment plant for Goomalling Shire Council.

The treatment system incorporated 20-micron automatic backwash filtration followed by liquid chlorine dosing and REDOX/ORP control for disinfection management.

The system also incorporated:

  • Recirculation pumping

  • 250 kL water storage

  • Process instrumentation

  • Process controls

  • Water filtration

  • Chlorine dosing

Aquasol's services included system design, equipment supply, technical documentation and supply coordination.

RESULTS: 390 M³/DAY RECLAIMED WATER TREATMENT

The project delivered a 390 m³/day water reuse treatment plant for reclaimed water reuse in Goomalling.

The completed system combined automatic backwash filtration, chlorine dosing, REDOX/ORP control, recirculation pumping and 250 kL of water storage within a containerised treatment solution.

Aquasol provided the system design, equipment supply, technical documentation and supply coordination for the project.
