Drinking Water Treatment
Drinking or Potable Water must meet certain guidelines to be fit for human consumption. Based on any water analysis supplied from feed water, Aquasol can design and build a plant that will provide drinking water to Australian or International Drinking Water Guideline Standards.
For high TDS (Total Dissolved Salts) water, an RO unit is part of the filtration process.
For water that is high in heavy metals and Arsenic, the AQ 6500 filtration Media is incorporated to remove these contaminants.
pH neutrality and stabilisation in the water is important and is addressed within the plant design to keep pH in an optimum range of 6.5 - 7.5
Sterilisation and disinfection is also a necessary process in any potable water plant to kill off any bacteria or chloroforms present in the water. Aquasol incorporates the latest technology to sterilise and disinfect water prior to use, be it chemically with liquid chlorine, chlorine generators; or utilising UV light technology.
